Field Sales Manager
Affinity (www.affinitywills.co.uk) is one of the leading firms of independent legal services providers in the U K. We offer a full range of Estate Planning solutions and expert supporting legal advice. We have a substantial client base (40,000+ clients) serviced by an existing field sales team, currently operating predominantly across the South East of the England. The business has grown substantially in recent years; we have ambitious expansion plans which include establishing a fully national reach and ultimately to become the largest provider in our sector.
The Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Field Sales Manager will be a key member of the Senior Management Team and play a central part in the development and delivery of the new business; product sales and revenue streams necessary to drive the growth of the business. The National Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for the management of the existing team of Estate Planning Consultants and the expansion of the sales force consistent with the company’s strategy for geographical expansion.
Main operational responsibilities:
· To plan, implement and execute sales strategies which deliver on
stretching targets
· Build, lead and motivate a field sales team of consultants
· Take responsibility for on-going-performance management,
coaching and development
· Produce and monitor team and individual action plans which drive
performance
range of relevant KPI’s
· Responsible for recruitment to facilitate growth and geographical
expansion plans
· Ensure company policy; procedures and ethical standards are
maintained
· Develop and manage relationships with business introducers and
affinity partnerships
· Represent the field sales team at Senior Management Meetings
· Provide thought leadership and input into appropriate marketing and
strategic decisions
· Work collaboratively with all internal departments to support the field
sales operation
· Manage ad-hoc projects within the business
Person Specification/required experience:
- A minimum of three years sales management experience in a B2C environment
- A proven record of delivering stretching targets and ability to drive sales teams
- Demonstrable relevant leadership skill-set and related competencies
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (verbal, written and general)
- Highly organised and able to plan effectively
- Financially astute; numerate and IT literate
- Degree level qualification in a related business subject preferred or equivalent experience
Salary and benefits:
Competitive basic salary of £35-40k dependant on experience
Attractive commission package OTE in the region of £60000
